It’s been that type of summer for Wilson, who struggled in all aspects of the game as he fell behind Terrelle Pryor, Matt Flynn and fellow rookie Matt McGloin. Wilson — a subject of conversation in the latest “Around The League Podcast” — now will have to settle for the practice squad.
However, NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport — citing a source informed of the move — reported Monday night that Raiders coaches have informed players that Pryor will start Sunday. Rapoport said Raiders offensive coordinator Greg Olson has taken a liking to the second-year pro.
Playing behind a leaky offensive line, Pryor’s mobility gives the Raiders their best chance to win on a weekly basis.
